Before the connection to Zuers from Alpe Rauz was built, this run and its variants were the ways back to Stuben from the Lech-Zuers side if you wanted to avoid the bus. It does get tracks, it is south facing, and it is still an amazing run on the bucket list of the freeride crew at Arlberg.

When leaving the old Trittkopf Bahn peak (now the connection to Alpe Rauz) ride down the bowl staying skiers left to not lose too much altitude (and alternative is to ski down to the road, there is a bus stop). You basically stay below the rocky peak of  Ochsenbodenkopf until you reach a distinct small chute (the creak Hoelltobelbach). Traverse staying high, you’ll see a small hut (if not fully buried in snow) below you. There is bushes below, don’t get tempted to drop right in there, there are cliffs below. Stay above the bush line until a chute opens up. You now see down the valley connecting to Stuben. This chute is great to ski. Stay left if you prefer to ski over the fully tunneled Flexengallery, if you want air, you can drop off the roof, the landing is steep enough to be amazing, maybe a 5 meter drop. From here ski down to the creak. You can cross and ski on the right side, this leads to the bunny hill in Stuben, or stay left and arrive a little further up in the village.

Given the exposure, timing is key. When the snow had gone slushy and froze overnight, doing this one in the morning is brutal, not fun and can be sketchy. Waiting too long, and you have slush at the bottom.
